What We Do

The Otonabee–South Monaghan Public Library brings people together through learning, creativity, and connection. Guided by our 2026–28 Strategic Plan, we provide equitable access to information, digital tools, and community spaces across our branches in Keene, Bailieboro, and Stewart Hall. We offer programs that spark curiosity, support literacy at every age, and help residents build the skills they need in a changing world.

We create welcoming places where neighbours gather, families explore, and individuals find resources to grow. From books and digital collections to hands‑on workshops, outreach, and community partnerships, our work is rooted in the belief that strong communities thrive when everyone has the opportunity to learn, connect, and belong.
